Used a nikon lens with an adapter due to it's superior sharpness over the canon wide angles- stars are sharp edge to edge in every corner

Description

Winds were flat calm, and geomagnetic activity indicated the possibility of auroras. After about an hour of hoping and waiting, a spectacular multi colored curtain filled the skies and reflected off the lake on this moonless night. Auroras are somewhat rare at 46.5 degrees north, and to capture something like this made me extremely happy.
