- Title: Pine Siskin
- State/Province/Region: Colorado
- Country: United States
- Nearest Area: Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado
- Nearest Town: Estes Park
- Best Season: Autumn
- Description: This Pine Siskin was very entertaining as I observed it working this Musk
Thistle for seeds. When I started to photograph it there was very little
wind, and it would get one seed at a time and casually eat it. As time went
on, the wind increased and was consistent. As if in a panic, the Pine Siskin started working at a faster pace, pulling several seeds up and trying to eat them quickly before they were blown away.
