Description: In July, I was sitting in a pop-up blind early in the morning on strip of land between two beaver ponds waiting for some ducks or beavers to appear. I heard splashing in the deep grass and eventually two fawns came out of the grass and walked along the edge of the pond. This fawn apparently heard the sound of my camera and stopped long enough to perk up its ears with a nice reflection. The muted reflection in light blue-green water as a contrast to the how the bright green grass made the fawn stand out. Later their mother showed up but stayed in the deeper grass and brush behind. In October, I was in the same area and saw what I believe to be the two fawns and their mother after they lost their spots.
