• Description: After spending a couple of hours at a claylick taking photos with a 400mm lens, I decided to switch to a fast 200mm to try and catch some individuals in flight. 5 Minutes later, as occurs randomly and infrequently, the birds all took off in a flush and I captured a series of photos. Had I not put on the shorter, faster lens, I would have missed capturing this moment.
