Description

Yellow rattlesnake venom drips down the sides of the glass vial, collecting in the bottom, while the herpetologist observes his largest eastern diamondback rattlesnake. When the collection process is complete, the liquid venom will be converted to a powder form, and sold by the ounce to antivenin-manufacturing companies who make the antivenoms that treat venomous snakebites.
