Description: It seems to be the beginning of the end of the 400 year old magnificent Qutub Shahi Tombs in Hyderabad, India.
A national tablod reports:
"The state archaeology department has "seriously damaged'' the tombs in its endeavour to give it a facelift, by digging up the earth close to the tombs using heavy machinery and thus tampering the heritage precincts contours for good. The tombs have incidentally already developed cracks. Worse, activists note that the archaeology department has seriously tampered with the 'originality' of the heritage tombs in the name of restoration."
