- Description: I walked up to the base of El Cap to try to do some long exposures because the sky was so clear and it was almost a full moon. With it being so bright I only had to shoot this one at 1250 ISO 30 sec and f /4.5. I was very pleased with the turn out! if you look very close on the left hand side up just about halfway up you will notice a little white dot, well that is a climber camping on that ledge and that is his headlamp shinning. The next day I went out just as the sun was coming up and I could see three climbers getting ready to make their long journey down.
