  • Description: These flowers only live for a short period of time so July and August is probably the best time.
  • Brief Directions: Head west from Bishop, CA on hwy 168 to the South Lake Trailhead. Hike towards Bishop Pass and head up Mt. Agassiz.
  • Notes: It's a scramble up the slopes in talous, scree and sand.
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Gear: Sturdy shoes, extra food, water and low level tripod
