Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Navajo Falls” by Aleksandra Kolosowsky. Location: Havasupai Falls, Arizona.
“Each major flood completely reconfigures the area of Havasupai Falls,” explains Kolosowsky. After the flood of 2008, instead of old Navajo Falls, there appeared two new falls that also are called Navajo—Upper and Lower. Here’s a picture of both of them that I took early in the morning on my way back to the village after spending few days camping at Havasupai Campground in late fall.”
Photo of the Day is chosen from various OP galleries, including Assignments, Your Favorite Places and the OP Contests. Assignments have weekly winners that are featured on the OP website homepage and several images from the Assignment Gallery are picked to be featured in The Best Of Assignments section in the print magazine. To get your photos in the running, all you have to do is submit them.
