Just bought one. Replaced my XSi. Great camera: as always, fantastic image quality, outstanding resolution, and an amazing scratch resistant new LCD. An excelent option even compared to more expensive cameras, like D50 or Nikon D90. Don’t care much for the video. I’m not gonna use it.

    This camera is awesome.

I almost wish I had waited and bought this instead on my 5d Mark II.

I guess the full frame and 21MP is worth it though.

But If I had not already purchased the 5D Mark II I would probably buy this…

The 1.6 crop factor comes in handy for wildlife…

I’ve gone and tested a few of these at a couple electronics stores around town, it’s astounding how cheap they feel compared to the XT. The Rebel never felt as solid or high-quality as say the X0D series, but the XSi and T1i feel like toys by comparison.

I just got the T1i to replace my XT. At first, i thought i was making a mistake since the XT was awesome, but now that i have been using the new camera. I cant put it down. This camera is easy to work with and figure out. The switch to SD cards makes it even better now that I dont have to get special made memory cards for the camera.

The result is fanastic. the only con i can think of is just that its all out of plastic, I miss the old metal/plastic frame at times.

I just bought the camera yesterday and ive got to say im glad i got this camera! AWSOME Camera by far its probly the best $800 i have ever spent pictures come out really clear HD Video is amazing as well all in all i give this camera a 10/10, i thought i was going to be dissapointed when i first got it but it as proved me wrong by far!. love the camera! next thing im trying to get is a ef70-200mm lens or ef80-300mm lens

Just picked up the camera and have been taking some experimental pics with it, really pleased so far, and out of all the cameras I looked at, this one fits the hand so much easier.(Even better with the battery grip attached)

Instructions and bundled imaging software are top notch, and the controls are fairly easy to figure out. 15mp with two lenses, case, battery grip for under $1600? Excellent value.

    Great job Canon!
