Adventure Photography Workshops with Michael DeYoung




Locations: Taos and Northern New Mexico

Widely published adventure, landscape and lifestyle photographer Michael DeYoung teaches outdoor photography workshops in Taos Ski Valley nestled in the highest mountains in New Mexico and bordering the dramatic upper Rio Grande Valley. The legendary light and landscape have drawn artists to this area for centuries.
 
At DeYoung Outdoor Photography Workshops we offer adventure and landscape themed workshops.  We take you beyond the mechanics of photography and help expand your creative seeing and thinking and develop your personal vision. 
 
The curriculum will be a balanced mix of lecture, location shoots, group critique, and post-processing and workflow.  Composition, design, lighting, action, and art direction techniques are taught to help participants create powerful images that convey a strong sense of place, action and emotion.  Our groups are kept small and uncrowded locations will include alpine peaks, mountain forests, and river canyons. 
 
Anyone wanting to improve their outdoor photography with any camera system will benefit from these workshops.
