Bridging The Twilight

  • Title: Bridging The Twilight
  • State/Province/Region:
  • Country: Saint Lucia
  • Nearest Area: Jade Mountain/Anse Chastanet Resort
  • Nearest Town: Soufriere
  • Brief Directions: A tripod is definitely necessary at this time of night, and I have found that the white balance is crucial to capturing the color of the light just right to create a play between the oranges and blues. On my camera I use either the Fluorescent or Flash setting to enhance some of the oranges.
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: Shot from the highest bridge at Jade Mountain Resort. A longer exposure allowed me to capture the Pitons in silhouette against a darkening twilight sky.
  • Gear: Canon 50D on a Manfrotto 055XB with Manfrotto Ball Head

I like this image. Nice composition that leades you up the river. Nice color but not to oversaturated. Crisp and clear. Nice job.
