Seeing Through

  • Title: Seeing Through
  • State/Province/Region:
  • Country: Kenya
  • Nearest Area: Masia Mara
  • Nearest Town: Nairobi
  • Brief Directions: from NAirobi one can take a 6 hour drive or fly in in a small aircraft. You must know which camp you are staying so you could take the plane. There are a few landing strips in the bush.
  • Notes: carry a tripod and bean bags. There are instances where you can not get down from your vehicle as it is in the wild...
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: The Masai mara does give you the best "clutter free" sunsets you get to see in the world. This shot was interesting as I am seeing the sun setting through the solitary tree in the distance.
  • Gear: Canon 5D Mark III, 70-200 f2.8 lens

Thank you Alena, appreciate your comments as always! This is one of my favorite places, with such amazing geology. Someone also pointed out the repeating triangular shapes, which is probably also...
