Description: I didn't think I would be fascinated with birds, but the beauty and diversity of the birds in Africa can't be ignored. Most birds flew away as we approached, but this guy was remarkably cooperative and I was able to capture the beautiful color and detail in the feathers. I'm quite pleased with this shot.
