Selous Crocodile Tree

  • Title: Selous Crocodile Tree
  • State/Province/Region:
  • Country: Tanzania
  • Nearest Area: Selous Safari Camp
  • Nearest Town: Dar Es Salam
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: We were on a boat tour of Lake Nzerakera and came upon this tree. All the features could not have been more perfectly placed - the crocodile, the cranes in the branches, the clouds and the lighting were all perfect. All I needed to do was point and shoot. One of those rare moments of being at the right place at the right time AND without having to wait for everything to be "just right".

Thank you for the compliment on my work Jean. The ocean is a most wonderful place to photograph; with both the power and beauty it displays.
