  • Country: Tanzania

  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: This was day 5 of my 9 day hike of Mt. Kilimanjaro. We were at 14,000 ft at this camp. The days would start cold, yet sunny and we would hike until afternoon when the clouds would come up and it would either rain or snow, then, by early evening, when it would cool off again and the clouds would drop, we got magnicent sun sets. This is one from Karanga Camp.

Thank you very much, Lorenzo! I was pretty happy to see those clouds coming in from the west as I was quickly setting up pre-sunset to get this side of the lighthouse. Thank you! --Jim--
