Pig, Malawi

  • Title: Pig, Malawi
  • State/Province/Region:
  • Country: Malawi
  • Nearest Area: Henga Valley
  • Nearest Town: Rumphi
  • Notes: f/1.7, 1/1000, ISO 100
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: The northern part of Malawi is known for the beauty of Nyika National Park. Less well documented but equally as stunning are the small villages of Henga Valley. While having lunch at the house of a villager in May 2010, I visited his pig stables. Six of his sows had recently given birth.

Another nice image Andy. You have very nice work of the Northeast Seascapes. I've enjoyed a number of your images with inspiration. Thank you for sharing them!

A very "Regal" capture Lorenzo; with nice vivid colors. He looks like Royalty to me!
