Dream Of Kilimanjaro

  • Title: Dream Of Kilimanjaro
  • State/Province/Region:
  • Country: Kenya
  • Nearest Area: Masailand
  • Nearest Town: Amboseli
  • Brief Directions: Short flight from Nairobi.
  • Notes: Beautiful place to experience Africa.
  • GPS Longitude: 37
  • GPS Latitude: 2
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: The dreams I had of this place as a child came to life as the clouds opened and this majestic mountain became visible. The rumbling herd of elephants as they slowly rambled along this canvas spoke of the simplicity, the duality of this African Landscape. Kilimanjaro, viewed from the Kenyan side, in Amboseli...where the dreams of Africa come to life.

Thanks Laura!! I walked into this little slot canyon till it was completely dark and thought I'd sort of found nothing much…then turned around and saw THIS. I was gem for sure.

Wow, just beautiful! The light is perfect and I love the curve of the tree and the lines of the canyon wall.
