Notes: Taal Lake is a little like Crater Lake in that it is a lake in a dormant volcano with an island in the lake. You can go down to the water, but I've never done that. The air is usually hazy and the view can be photographically dim. This was the best day I had. It's a 4 shot panorama.
Best Season: Spring
Description: Taal Lake at Tagaytay on the Island of Luzon.

whoa........... Gorgeous portrait. I've never seen a reddish egret. I'm about to move to Lakeland, FLA. this Summer. I hope to see one of these beauties first hand. So sad to know this one cannot...
