Autumn In Hasedera
- Title: Autumn In Hasedera
- Country: Japan
- Nearest Area: Nara
- Nearest Town: Hasedera
- Brief Directions: From Nara station, take a train south bound; then change a train toward Nagoya; take off from Hasedera station. It takes only 30 minute-walk.
But you will have to go Japan first of all.
- Notes: The season of Autumn in Kyoto area lasts almost 2 months. It seems to begin middle of October to last middle of December. However, the mapple trees are in their peak around end of November and early December.
- Best Season: Autumn
- Description: I lived 14 months in Japan after I retired from University of Southern California as a scientist. Since I was working at Kyoto, I traveled every Saturday near Kyoto and Nara. It is so beautiful in the season of Fall, for there are so many baby maple trees in that area.
This temple (Hasedera) is in Nara; I visited there twice late November 2012. Since it is time for Fall color, I had to separate myself from the crowds; I found a quite place on top of the other side of the temple.
- Gear: Canon 20D
