Sheer Cliffs Of Huangshan

  • Title: Sheer Cliffs Of Huangshan
  • State/Province/Region:
  • Country: China
  • Nearest Town: Tangkou
  • Brief Directions: Take a taxi or bus from Tangkou to the Eastern steps and start walking (or wimp out and take the cable car!)
  • Notes: Beautiful place. Just be prepared for lots of steps up and down.
  • Best Season: Spring
  • Description: Yellow Mountain (Huangshan) in Anhui Province, has the reputation of being the most beautiful mountain in the world. I travelled with Dan from Los Angeles who said that Yosemite would have to take 2nd place to Huangshan! He loves Yosemite. The views (and the effort to get to them) were dramatic.

Thanks Laura! It's up in the area you also enjoy visiting/photographing, there in the Eastern Sierras! I can't wait for a few more weeks to go start chasing the Fall colors! I look forward to...

Love the lines and contrasting dark and light trunks in this!
