Brief Directions: Ride a bus to San Fernando, then a jeepney to Sta. Ana. From Sta. Ana take another jeep to Candaba. From Candaba you can ride a tricycle to the jump off point to the swamp depending on the road conditions. Most likely you will have to walk 7 km to the swamp from the Candaba town proper
Notes: Candaba swamp is full of migratory birds during the months of November - January. During the rainy season the water level is high and the hike trails disappear. Aside from birding, Candaba also offers great landscape with Mt. Arayat in the background
