Matawe Tidelands In Dingalan, Aurora
Rodel Joselito Manabat
- Title: Matawe Tidelands In Dingalan, Aurora
- Country: Philippines
- Best Season: Summer
- Description: Dingalan is the southernmost town of Aurora; it is separated from the rest of the province by the Sierra Madre mountains. Nestled at the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountain Range, Dingalan's terrain is generally hilly and mountainous. Large boulders of black igneous rock litter the mountainside all the way from the borders of the province, despite the absence of volcanoes in the area. Some local residents suggest that the rocks must date back to prehistoric times, since they've been there as long as the residents' ancestors could remember.
