Space Odyssea

  • Title: Space Odyssea
  • State/Province/Region:
  • Country: Viet Nam
  • Nearest Area: Binh Thuan
  • Nearest Town: Co Thach
  • Brief Directions: I traveled 200 miles North of Ho Chi Minh City to reach Co Thach, a small seaside village in Tuy Phong, Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam.
  • Notes: A Singh Ray Gold n Blue circular polarizer and a graduate ND filter were used to enhance and balance the sky and the dark rocks. The long exposure blurred the waves into a some what mist, which helped to accentuate the curvy rock formation.
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: This photo was shot 30 minutes before sunrise when the sky just started to glow. The rocks were randomly scattered everywhere in a very chaotic fashion, therefore I had a hard time to sort out their lines and forms in order to come up with this composition.
  • Gear: Sony a850, Zeiss 16-35 ZA

I like how the edge of the surge looks like fine lace. Very nice pic!
