A Little Sloth

  • Title: A Little Sloth
  • State/Province/Region:
  • Country: Costa Rica
  • Nearest Area: Don't know
  • Nearest Town: Don't know
  • Brief Directions: I don't remember the exact spot where I took this picture.
  • Notes: We were on the road back to San José from the Arenal Volcano and we stopped to buy some bananas. It was on that site where we suddenly saw the little sloath that the family who works there has as a pet. Normally these type of animals live on high trees and they only come down to do their necesities. They are very slow in moving and sleep most of the time, thus the name sloath.
  • Description: This shot was taken 6/25/12. Focal length: 44 mm. F Number: F7.1 Exposure time 1/80 Sec No flash
  • Gear: Canon EOC Digital Rebel XTi

Thanks Laura!! I walked into this little slot canyon till it was completely dark and thought I'd sort of found nothing much…then turned around and saw THIS. I was gem for sure.

Wow, just beautiful! The light is perfect and I love the curve of the tree and the lines of the canyon wall.
