Caribbean Sunset

  • Title: Caribbean Sunset
  • State/Province/Region:
  • Country: Puerto Rico
  • Nearest Area: Coco Beach
  • Nearest Town: Rio Grande
  • Brief Directions: Go to Gran Melia resort, just off Highway 3 near the town of rio Grande.
  • Best Season: Spring
  • Description: The nearness of Tropical Storm Erika made for some very dramatic skies. The intensity of the colors captured my attention and I composed the shot to silhouette the palms against the cky. I included just enough of the rocks and water to show the context of the beach setting.
  • Gear: Nikon D80 + Tamron 17-50 f2.8

Love your shot. Takes me back to my youth on the farm, I can smell the corn field.
