  • Brief Directions: From San José go to La Fortuna where the main attraction is the Arenal Volcano. In La Fortuna's tourist office you will be told how to get to the Tilajari Hotel.
  • Notes: The hotel is beautiful and not expensive. In front of it there is a river with clear waters during summer and on the bank of the river one can find lots of iguanas enjoying sunshine to keep warm. At the hotel food is thrown at the birds and birds of all colors and species come to get the food. Iguanas also join the party giving photographers lots of opportunity to take wonderful photographs. It is a photographer's paradise.
