Brief Directions: Turn off the A38 at Drumbridges (Bovet Tracey) and take the A382 to Bovey Tracey. Continues straight over 1st roundabout until you reach the 2nd roundabout. Turn left on to the B3387 and continue towards Haytor rock, just past Haytor rock is a car park on right. Park here and follow track to the North. Turn left when you reach the boundary stone and continue until you reach the lone tree and rock of Holwell tor.
Notes: In May the Hawthorn tree is in bloom - althought this location can be photographed all year round.
