Notes: Placing my tripod squarely in front of the puddle did not make me real popular with the pedestrians trying to get by... but it kept them out of the puddle. "Mi dispiace" (I'm sorry) goes a long ways in the public relations department in an instance like this.
Best Season: Autumn
Description: Although water dominates Venice via the numerous canals it can sometimes present itself in more unusual ways. This image was taken in the early morning as the sunlight streamed between the buildings. The lighting was only present for a brief moment in time. The challenge was to keep the few local early morning pedestrians from walking through the puddle and not irritate them too much. See more of my Venice images at www.printsbeautiful.com.
