  • Description: The Italian Chapel was built by Italian prisoners of war. They used material that was left over from the building of the Churchill Barriers. An amazing church built from materials they could find.

    Thanks Laura!! I walked into this little slot canyon till it was completely dark and thought I'd sort of found nothing much…then turned around and saw THIS. I was gem for sure.

    Wow, just beautiful! The light is perfect and I love the curve of the tree and the lines of the canyon wall.
