Description: I waited a couple of days before shooting this area at the beach as the sky was cloudless and rather dull. I shot for more then 20 minutes and packed my gear when it was dark. Heading back to the car I crossed those "meadows" in the evening breeze...the flowers' fragrance (Pancratium Maritimum) was straordinary. Useless to say I spent a few more minutes in the darkness smelling the sent of them.
Gear: Nikon D700 - 17-35 mm f/2.8 AFS Nikkor - ISO 200 - 17mm - F/16 - 1/15 - Lee GND 0.9

whoa........... Gorgeous portrait. I've never seen a reddish egret. I'm about to move to Lakeland, FLA. this Summer. I hope to see one of these beauties first hand. So sad to know this one cannot...
