• Brief Directions: Proceed from Cortina heading towards Bolzano along the Falzarego Pass road. The recommended hike starts approximately 1.5 miles before the top of Falzarego Pass.
• Notes: This is one of my preferred places in the Dolomites. The fall is the ideal time to enjoy a closer contact with nature. The noisy summer crowds are definitely far from the rocky cathedrals of double carbonate of calcium and magnesium and the wildlife can be encountered from very close.
