Description: Paragliding over Anzere, Switzerland in winter. I stood on the slopes above and waited until the pilot was lined up the dark forest in the valley below to ensure that the sun shining on his lines and chute would pop out in the photo. A little extra selective saturation and sharpening in Aperture helped bring the lines out even more.
Gear: Nikon D80, Nikkor 180-200mm

whoa........... Gorgeous portrait. I've never seen a reddish egret. I'm about to move to Lakeland, FLA. this Summer. I hope to see one of these beauties first hand. So sad to know this one cannot...
