Snowy Venetian Morning

  • Title: Snowy Venetian Morning
  • State/Province/Region:
  • Country: Italy
  • Nearest Town: Burano
  • Brief Directions: added a filter on Nik Color Efex Pro
  • Best Season: Winter
  • Description: This was indeed the VERY FIRST IMAGE I have taken in Venice. I arrived Venice in the evening, it was snowing but it was not so cold. Being a Minnesotan teaches you about cold and snow. I knew this snow would not last long.I walked hours in Venice that evening to spot my potentially excellent morning photo spot. After a long day and night carrying a 30lbs camera gear on my back, I still managed to get up 6:00am and started shooting. Snow was gone by 10:00am but by then I already walked around and photographed the city in white!

I like this image. Nice composition that leades you up the river. Nice color but not to oversaturated. Crisp and clear. Nice job.
