- Description: It was such an electric morning.
I feel more at home and alive than anywhere else when I’m standing in front of this, every bone tingles.
You get a true sense of her power and beauty when you are just a foot away from being swallowed up by her.
When I was younger I use to surf in cyclones up in North Queensland, because it was the only time we got waves!
I’ve almost had my back broken in two from being smashed onto coral, I’ve been held under water and thrashed about like a ragdoll in a washing machine, until I thought my lungs would explode. I’ve been circled by tiger sharks, suffered concussions from my head meeting the sea floor on many occasions, lost a camera, shoes, wallet, a surfboard, keys, a tooth, clothes, watches and the list goes on.
I still hold the deepest respect for her. and maybe I have no sense but I’ll still be on her doorstep with camera in hand no matter what the mood, because it never gets old for me ;)
