  • Description: Male Regent Bowerbird, in the Gold Coast Hinterland, SE of Brisbane, Qld. Australia, The enjoy the High Rainfall Sub-tropical Rain Forests. After observing him from a distance for what seemed like an eternity, lol i noticed He started to fly back and forth to the similar spot on the branch, S i focused to that area and waited and waited until he finally landed in the right spot, this was taken with my very first Digital Camera, which is pretty sad to the digital standards of today. But at the time it was a awesome camera... still have it and still works great. (Sony F707)

Thank you kindly Laura! It's an area I really enjoy photographing called "Rim Of The World"! I enjoyed your gallery also, with the beautiful images of La Jolla Reefs/North County~ Love that area!!!

Thanks Alena and David! I took a lot of shots of this landscape, but placing a person in the shot imparted the sense of amazement and exhilaration I was trying to capture. Merry Christmas!
