  • Description: Brown Pelicans arrived in the Inner Harbour, Victoria for the first time ever in November 2012 and remain there signalling climate change, etc. At this time of year they are more likely to be found along the U.S. west coast or Baja California Peninsula. These are large birds that measure up to 54 inches in length and are distinguished by a large beak measuring up to one foot in length.
