This provincial park is located on Vancouver Island approximately 17 kilometers from Victoria at the beginning of the scenic Malahat Drive.
- Best Season: Winter
This young bald eagle was photographed in January 2013 and will have it's distinctive white head feathers in spring. The location was Goldstream Provincial Park which has a salmon feeding and spawning river flowing through it. The best time to photograph eagles is October to December when the salmon are spawning.
