  • Description: After weeks of cloudy, dreary weather, seeing a sunrise is a special treat here on the west coast. The cold wind off the water made my fingers numb and my eyes water as I fired off a few shots hoping to capture the quiet stillness of the sunrise in my small seaside town.

    I love how the Milky Way appears to be a continuation of the river – no accident I’m sure. I’m guessing you had to take your sky shot with no moon in the sky, and the foreground with the moon low...
