Up And At "em!

  • Title: Up And At "em!
  • State/Province/Region: British Columbia
  • Country: Canada
  • Nearest Area: Rathtrevor Beach Park
  • Nearest Town: Parksvile
  • Brief Directions: I'm lucky enough to live on Vancouver Island near a provincial park called "Rathtrevor Beach". It is near a town called PARKSVILLE which is about a two hour drive north of our provincial capital of Victoria.
  • Notes: I find early morning the best time to capture light and sun or at least the most dramatic.
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: If you are beachside early enough you can catch the early morning sunrise and if the tide is out the flora and fauna inflow tidal pools is amazing! It might mean getting your shoes wet and "swamp lagoon" appearance but all worth it.

Very nice set of "Arches" Stephen. Wasn't sure, but thought someone said one of the famous landmarks fell? Really enjoyed the "Double Windows" when there!

That moose is a "spike" i.e. a very young juvenile, probably on his first year away from mom. His antler's will fill out further in the next few years.
