Notes: Walking to the massive rock for which the town is named is possible via sandbar during low-tide. An island shaped like a cresting whale lies off the coast and is a bird sanctuary with cliffs on which millions of seabirds live. Trails criss-cross the island for wonderful hikes. A mountain rising behind the village makes for other terrific hikes.
