The Yukon is potentially one of the most
beautiful areas for outdoor photographers, who
seek fresh images. I believe that when photographers drive to Alaska, they drive

the beauty around them. I kick myself why I didn't stop and work that mountainside for a
day. The problem in the Yukon is accessibility.
I have flown my plane up the Yukon River to

beauty, with no place to land. Today, I rather
photograph the Yukon, excluding the Alaska
coastal areas, than interior Alaska.
