Description: About every two months, Wayne Johnson hikes to the top of the hill behind his retirement golf community to replace the tattered flag. The winds in this mountain pass can be pretty fierce, so they don't last long. Fortunately, many of the community's residents appreciate seeing Old Glory flying above their homes, and donate new flags on a frequent basis. The hike to the top of the hill was pretty arduous, so I just carried my 14mp point and shoot for the photo.
