Notes: My wife and I had spent the day on Whidbey Island with friends. We stopped so I could get some shots of the bridge and right before we left, I wanted to look out over the water as the sun set. The clear view was nice enough, but I wanted to frame it among the trees.

whoa........... Gorgeous portrait. I've never seen a reddish egret. I'm about to move to Lakeland, FLA. this Summer. I hope to see one of these beauties first hand. So sad to know this one cannot...
