Nothing Like The First Time

  • Title: Nothing Like The First Time
  • State/Province/Region: Colorado
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: The Dallas Divide
  • Nearest Town: Telluride, CO
  • Brief Directions: The Dallas Divide is between Ridgway and Telluride on 62.
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: Driving South into Telluride from Northern Colorado... I was excited to see the San Juan Mountains for the first time. I arrive at the Dallas Divide at peak sunset and with peak Fall foliage. Got out and took this picture and no matter how many more days I went back... it was never as good as the first time!

"Absolutely in the right place at the right time". So very rare to see a double rainbow let alone have your camera with perfect glowing conditions.. Great capture
