  • Description: Shot while patiently waiting for the late afternoon sun to break thru the cloud cover so it could highlight the colorful hillside. The sun didn't break thru the way i hoped but the wait was worth it, very peaceful. 1/6th sec. @ f9, ISO 200, 35mm, with fill flash.
  • Gear: Nikon D800 w24-70mm lens, SB-910 flash, Velbon tripod.

    David, My favorite NP and I regret not getting there this summer. Very nice image with reflection of the sun struck Hallet Peak and anchor boulder in the foreground. I don't think it will look...
