  • Description: The walkway to the Rough Ridge Overlook is a moderate 1/3 mile hike from the parking area at mile 302.8 along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina, USA. You will be treated to extensive views of the mountain range which include Grandfather Mountain and the Linn Cove Viaduct. Arriving just before sunrise, we witnessed true beauty as the sun broke the horizon and fog filled the valley.
