  • Brief Directions: In the center of Koln you can not miss the cathedral. Cross the train bridge and wait until dark. It takes a while for the it to become really dark.
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: This was taken the first part of June 2010 at about 11:30 p.m. The Rhine river really enhanced the photo with all the reflection of the light. Really a beautiful view. You have to see it to really appreciate the setting.
  • Gear: Nikon D300 with Nikkor 24-70 2.8, Manfrotto 190 tripod

    Very nice set of "Arches" Stephen. Wasn't sure, but thought someone said one of the famous landmarks fell? Really enjoyed the "Double Windows" when there!

    That moose is a "spike" i.e. a very young juvenile, probably on his first year away from mom. His antler's will fill out further in the next few years.
