  • Brief Directions: There are several routes to Eagle Lake, one from the north and another from the south. From the North one would start near the town of Wallowa travel several FS roads and than hike. From the south again travel several dirt FS roads and Hike from a Trail Head. Eagle Cap Wilderness is about 290 miles east of Portland, Oregon.
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: Eagle Lake is in the Eagle Cap Wilderness in the Wallowa Mountains of Eastern Oregon. Eagle Lake is at 7448 feet. One must backpack to get there.

    Very nice set of "Arches" Stephen. Wasn't sure, but thought someone said one of the famous landmarks fell? Really enjoyed the "Double Windows" when there!
