Natural Water Pools

  • Title: Natural Water Pools
  • State/Province/Region:
  • Country: Greece
  • Nearest Area: Papigo village
  • Nearest Town: Ioannina
  • Brief Directions: The area is called "Zagori", lies N-NE of the Town of Ioannina and is a complex of villages very famous and important tourist attraction. The historicall villages have kept their traditional colour and once you enter them , you are dropped back to the last century.
  • Best Season: Spring
  • Description: I was visiting the the villages of Mikro(small) and Megalo(big) Papigo. In between them there is an interesting rock formation (like a small gorge) where you can find natural water pools smoothened by the many years water action.I've chosen the location and i was waiting for the sun to be hidden behind the clouds before i shoot at f/11 1/1600sec ISO 800 and at 24mm focal length.
